Relab secures $1M post seed funding from top NZ investors
As the property market continues to heat up, we are super excited to continue our mission of making property buying a data driven experience with a capital injection from top tier NZ investors.
Just prior to the Summer holiday break, we were immensely proud to close our first post seed funding round, attracting strong interest and NZD $1M in funding from investment moguls Icehouse Ventures, CF Capital and Stonewood Investments.
Co-Founder and CEO Knight Hou says of the funding round and recent market success “We identified an opportunity to consolidate the plethora of property data sources and serve them via one platform. The interest and funding we’ve received is massively encouraging and reaffirms that we are on the right track with our strategy to help both property professionals and savvy home buyers and sellers alike to make smarter property decisions in a rapidly changing market,”
Icehouse Ventures CEO Robbie Paul added, they are “very excited about the strategic direction and promising growth of Relab”.
We have big plans for the capital injection and have already put it to good use with the recent appointment of Louise Donnelly-Davey to the role of Chief Marketing Officer. Lou has a strong track record in both startups and New Zealand SaaS companies and brings a wealth of marketing and business leadership experience with her.
Our aim is to also hire additional development capability to help roll out additional key features and ensure our user interface is easy to navigate. Felix Horn joined us last week as our new Software Engineer and we couldn’t be more chuffed with his appointment.
We are committed to providing a slick and streamlined one-stop shop for property professionals such as builders, brokers, developers and real estate agents as well as home buyers and sellers, allowing them access to comprehensive and independent property data and insights including title records, planning details, topography and underground services, sales histories and much more. Most importantly - and perhaps the most obvious benefit is that users can access all of this data in the one place.
